About Speyer Sports

I dedicate this website to my dad. Bernie Speyer was the ultimate Ohio State Buckeye superfan before it was a thing. Dad went to the Snow Bowl in 1950. He and mom took us on road trips around the Big Ten back in the 1970’s to watch the Buckeyes play. Thanks to dad, I was a Buckeyes season ticket holder for over 40 years. I don’t go to many Buckeyes games these days, but I have season tickets to the Columbus Crew. Speyer Sports will be writing about and reporting on the Buckeyes, Crew, Columbus Fury, and Columbus Clippers.
